I enjoy watching time travel movies, but one thing always bothered me. If you go back in time, wouldn't you go back in time in the exact point in space at where you're at in the future?
In the movies the time traveler always ends up at the spot on earth where they were.
But the earth has rotated many times in the meantime, the earth has rotated around the sun, the sun has moved millions of miles. How would you get back to the exact spot in space? Even the rotation of the earth varies day by day.
I guess I should just sit back, enjoy the show and stop thinking so much.
