One thing I like about my car is that it has bench seats in the front. With a center console, I feel claustrophobic. It's also nice to have some room to turn your body so you can see when you are backing up.
Sadly, the 2013 Impala is the last bench seat available...
Sometimes older cars are better in that you have more room. Column shift FTW!
